The third part of the voraciously anticipated Netflix series, Squid Game, debuted on Friday, June 27. The theme of suicide and self-harm was predominant throughout the third season of Squid Game. Lead character, Gi-hun, a previous winner who returned to the game to ‘destroy’ the organization from the inside, took his own life in the concluding episode of season three.
