A Trip to Latvia: Anima In The Animus- 2 (PHOTO STORY)

Image
On the second day of the visit to Riga, Latvia , the Uprising Platform was at the nature (otherwise called the Museum of Natural History Museum. The museum featured every animal mentioned in the Old Testament of the Bible from Noah's Ark , including reptiles, birds, and prehistoric creatures . The anima in the animus of these creatures was meticulously represented with profound attention to detail. The ambience of the museum encapsulates the geographical location or zones of these species impeccably. For instance, the room that had the sea animals, such as the penguins, fish, and dolphins, was made to be cold, as it gave the tourists that chilly feeling, as you would if they sat by the ocean in Europe. Meanwhile, the animals from the African continent were preserved in a humid room to describe the temperature in that part of the world. Anima in the Animus As a Nigerian, I was quite impressed as I was only seeing some animals for the first time. In primary and secondary school...

The Dire Wolf Story: What do you know about the reawakened ‘extinct’ cat? (PHOTOS)

Image
On Easter Monday, I was at Heuraka, the science museum located in Vantaa, Finland, alongside members of the family and friends. While at the museum, we saw several magnanimous creatures in the exhibition room, the scenery was quite exhilarating. Specifically, scientists mentioned that they are  seeking various methodologies to reinstate them by bringing them back to life. It would be interesting to see what the future holds. Some of the notable creatures are the woolly mammoth , Hippidion , Saber-toothed cat , etc. There’ll be another article about my observation and documentation from the museum, however, this particular piece is for the ‘ de-extincted ’ big cat, the dire wolf . An animal that has been extinct for almost tens of centuries. It is interesting to read the research results about the carnivorous breed. Also, during a conversation with an instructor or facilitator at the museum, she explained why scientists were interested in bringing the animal back into exist...

In psychology, the swan is a symbol of awakenness. Developing the knowledge of self, grace, balance, and self-esteem. This article was born during my conversation with a friend of mine earlier in the month of March. A swan seems to be my spirit animal. Specifically, boys like me are swans. Those people who suffered low self-esteem growing up but suddenly developed a healthy self-worth through continuous self-development, pursuit of happiness, and, of course, a relationship with God. Life as a swan (Photo credit: Asko Lippo) Swans are large, graceful waterbirds belonging to the genus Cygnus. They are known for their long necks, white or black plumage (depending on species), and strong pair bonds. It is important to note that the photos in this article were taken by my friend, Asko Lippo .  Here are some key facts to note about swans: Species: The most common swan species include the mute swan (Cygnus olor), whooper swan (Cygnus cygnus), trumpeter swan (Cygnus buccinator), and...
