 The Africa Day celebration took place on Monday, May 25, at the Museum of Technology in Viikintie, Helsinki.

The event brings together Africans, Finns, and people from different backgrounds to promote unity, cultural understanding, and social inclusion through various activities and programs.

Equally, the African Week usually includes music performances, traditional dance, fashion shows, food exhibitions, art displays, film screenings, workshops, and discussions about issues affecting African communities in Finland. It provides an opportunity for people to experience African traditions, values, languages, and creativity while learning more about the African continent.

 On Saturday, July 26, the Singles Party event organized by the Association of Nigerian Community in Finland took place in Haukilahti beach, Espoo. The event was attended by single men and women from across various parts of Finland, such as Helsinki, Vantaa, Tampere, etc. It was an exciting event where programs such as networking, games, and music took place, and it was worthwhile. Specifically, the objective of the event at the beach is for men to meet women and vice versa. Everyone deserves true love and companionship; therefore, the coming together of men and women is not only ideal, it is a basic requirement for our survival as humans.
