2020 would probably go down in history as one of the most polarizing moments in the history of the modern world. The death of basketball legend Kobe Bryant and his daughter left a massive hole in the hearts of the members of his family and also lovers of the sport across the globe.
2020 was a strange year; however, it was quintessential in creating a mental
and psychological shift in human dealings. It was a phase people knew they
needed, but it was a necessity.
In the early part of 2020, Nigeria, like other parts of the world, went on a
compulsory lockdown due to the Coronavirus outbreak. At the time, it was
alleged that people died due to the coronavirus; researchers have come out to argue that the virus wasn’t as heinous as it was announced to be.

In the latter part of 2020, the concluding weeks of September 2020 to be precise, there was going to be a transformation in the country, Nigeria. An awakening was about to emerge in the most populated black nation until the nefarious incident that happened at Lekki Tollgate on Tuesday, October 20.
Three years after the Lekki protest, Nigerians witnessed how the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), used brutal methodology to win the 2023 presidential election. Through vicious means, videos of bullying, intimidation, and violence, APC denied the people the opportunity to experience new rulership and the commencement of a new political system in Nigeria. The denial of the opportunity to see a progressive nation.
