Once Upon A Time In Estonia: The Cruise-Ferry Trip

I took a trip across the sea with family to ease my mind. To relax, unwind, and enjoy the beauty, culture, and tradition of the Baltic.

The cruise from Finland to Estonia was enthralling, and there are several things that I have taken away from the experience. As a first-time cruise-ferry traveler, I didn’t know what to expect, so I just remained open-hearted to what the journey had to offer.

The Cruise-Ferry Trip

Hence, I sat close to the window with my camera and notepad. I watched as the ship voyaged through the waters; the sea was serene, and I heard the whispers that the waves exuded, the weather was temperate, and the cruise was quite impeccable, to be honest.

Staring out the window, I enjoyed the opulence of nature, and I must now take a moment to applaud the creativity of European technicians and their engineers for such an impressive construction. This is no racist remark, it’s just pure admiration for the brilliance and impeccable ethics of the white person (or those who built it). The ship was premium, as a Nigerian, I must doff my hat for such impeccable service.

The ship named Tallink Silja Line is one of the most prominent ferry operators in the northern Baltic. Specifically, Tallink Silja Line encompasses the speed of shuttle ferries with the luxury of cruise-ferry travel. Since you’re in Finland, you should do well to experience this luxurious trip.

Major Takeaways From The Trip:

1. Rapid Daily Trips: As stated earlier, the trip from Helsinki (Finland) to Tallinn (Estonia) was only for 2 hours. There were no hitches or technical glitches; instead, the cruise was smooth. Additionally, there are regular crossings to Stockholm (in Sweden), should you be interested.

2. A Cruise-Like Experience: The ship seems more like home away from home. There are various activities to enjoy and embrace while on the ship.

Equally, there are onboard activities such as live shows, bars, buffets, duty-free shopping, children’s play areas (with Mascots such as Mcomin, and Harri the seal), saunas, jacuzzis, and of course, cabins. Once again, home away from home.

3. Variety of Travel Options: You can choose between quick, high-speed trips or leisurely mini-cruises with overnight stays and extra onboard comfort.

Hey, the trip is worth it, and you would definitely enjoy it too. You can see the Instagram page (Uprisingplatform) to watch more videos.
